Volunteers Needed

Volunteer for our Spay Day at every last weekend of the month in Johor Bahru.

We need dedicated volunteers willing to consistently commit time and effort. The hours are long and gruelling as we work 14 hour days on some weekends but the work is totally satisfying and meaningful when we see we are making a difference.

Help is needed to man the following stations:

Registration
Tagging & moving of cat carriers & cages
Tagging of dog cages after dog is admitted
Helping the vet technicians to prepare the dogs and cats for surgery
Monitoring the animals at the recovery stations

Criteria For Selection

You must not be afraid of handling dogs and cats.
You are comfortable picking up poo, cleaning pee and vomit, cleaning the cages as well as mopping the floor.
You will be mostly on your feet doing the tasks at the different stations.
We do not stop at all but take turns to have our meals.
You must think on your feet, work fast and respond to situations appropriately.
You are willing to learn and more importantly, can take instructions and follow through without compromising the work flow.

Training Is Provided

This is not a picnic. There is no time to play with animals and take selfies. We need serious individuals who understand the importance of what we are doing and wholeheartedly do whatever is necessary to achieve our goals.
