Here’s How It Starts

• If your male and female dogs or cats are not sterilised, they will reproduce in your own home. Unwanted litters of puppies and kittens are thrown away in public places or dumped at the gates of shelters.

• Your intact male or female will find ways and means to break out of your home to find a mate.  If you let your pets roam freely, they will also reproduce.   Females will come home pregnant and female strays will be impregnated by your male dogs or cats. 

• This is how you help to increase the stray population and how more litters are dumped by pet owners all across the country causing an even greater population explosion. 

The Solution

• The only way to put a stop to this is to start in your own home. Spay and neuter your pets to stop this never-ending cycle of births.  

• Stop the endless dumping of litters of puppies snd kittens.  Most do not survive on the streets and die suffering. 

• Stop the cycle of female dogs and cats getting pregnant over and over again.  Female dogs go into heat every 6 months while female cats, every 3 weeks! 

• START WITH YOUR OWN HOUSEHOLD.  Imagine, if we could replicate this in every neighbourhood, how much ground we could cover in a district and eventually, an entire state.
